Girl Up is having a benefit picnic for their 'SchoolCycle' campaign this spring.
The campaign, which launched in 2014, focuses on providing bicycles to young girls be able to transport themselves to school, safely on a daily basis. So far they have been able to give 1,800 bicycles to girls in Malawi and Guatemala.
The benefit will take place on Saturday, May 18th at Arthur Road Park in Solon from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be music, food trucks, and giveaways at this free community event.
