The City of Cleveland is recognizing a local teen for his recent actions in saving a woman and two children from a house fire.

The woman and her two children were trapped on the roof of their home March 28th as their residence burned.

Quick-thinking 16-year-old Tyler Snowden retrieved a ladder and helped the victims to escape the fire.

He was honored Monday by members of Cleveland City Council.
