Swiftie Battling Brain Cancer Surprised With “Eras Tour” Tickets After Scam

Brookhaven, Georgia, 10-year-old Caroline Brewer, who’s been battling cancer since she was three, recently experienced a heartwarming surprise after her mother was scammed out of Taylor Swift “Eras Tour” concert tickets. Caroline's mom, Jamie Brewer, was devastated when she realized that she’d fallen victim to the scam, as she was counting on the tickets bringing a smile to her daughter after having undergone multiple surgeries and treatments for her condition. Caroline credits Swift for helping her through the tough times.

When Otis Maher, from iHeartRadio's 105.3 in Atlanta, learned about Caroline's story, he was moved to help. He contacted Swift's record company and organized a special surprise for Caroline. During a Taylor Swift-themed pop-up event, Maher announced that she and her mom would be sent to New Orleans to see the “Eras Tour,” with all expenses paid, including concert tickets, flights, and hotel arrangements.

The surprise brought the tween to tears and her mother shared that the experience would be life-changing for her daughter. Overwhelmed with excitement, Caroline says she’s deeply grateful, is feeling really good, and is excited about the concert. Her mom took the opportunity to thank everyone who wanted to help and she encouraged them to support her fight against cancer by donating to the Atlanta-based Rally Foundation for Childhood Cancer Research.
