Last week, Waco, Texas, contractor Dakota Wimberly approached Gary Moss, the store manager for Lowe’s in Waco, to ask for help buying a window AC for an elderly resident in need.
Wimberly learned that the man’s AC wasn’t working, and with temperatures reaching the triple-digits, he felt he needed to help.
Without even knowing what the man’s name was, Moss didn’t hesitate to split the cost of the $500 AC unit.
Wimberly took to social media to praise Moss for his kindness, leading to the story being picked up by local news.
The coverage has now shed a light on Moss and Wimberly’s long history of helping those in need.
