On Monday evening, two teenage boys in Louisville, Kentucky, sprang into action when a man suffering a medical emergency crashed his vehicle into the Ohio River.
The incident occurred around 6:20 p.m. at the Greenwood Boat Ramp, and the teens immediately jumped into the water to pull the man to safety.
The boys also helped first responders secure the vehicle with a rope to keep it from drifting away.
The man was taken to the hospital, and Louisville Metro Police are crediting the teens and other bystanders with preventing a potential tragedy.
