A Kentucky elementary school teacher surprised one of her students who has a rare genetic disorder with tickets to see Jelly Roll and they ended up getting to meet him. Courtney Jones, a teacher at Pulaski Elementary School in Somerset, gave a special end-of-year gift to Jaylee Huddleston: a pair of tickets for them to see Jelly Roll at the Railbird Festival in Lexington last weekend. After learning about their story, the country music star invited both of them backstage.
At the meet and greet, Jelly Roll hugged Jaylee, kissed her on the cheek, and gifted her an autographed set list and hat. The teacher shares that watching Jaylee enjoy the moment made it one of her favorite days ever.
Jones says the girl was thrilled and felt like a star, with other concertgoers even stopping to take pictures with her. The event created a lasting memory for both student and teacher, who bonded over the shared experience.
