A new corn maze has been created at Johnson Farms in Belton, Missouri, celebrating the engagement of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. Designed by Precision Mazes, the nine-acre field features the couple’s Instagram engagement photo, their special numbers 87 and 13, and the phrase “Kansas City is Enchanted.” Rob Stouffer, owner of Precision Mazes, says the idea came to him after seeing the engagement news and thinking it would be a great project.
Johnson Farms manager Jim Johnson explains that honoring the couple felt natural because of the positive energy they’ve brought to the community. “We’re really thankful for all that they’ve brought to Kansas City,” Johnson says.
Stouffer describes the maze, which took about nine hours to complete, as an opportunity to celebrate a joyful story, saying, “We’re telling stories out here and this is a fun one to tell.” He adds that he hopes visitors might even find love themselves, saying he’d like to see “some first dates that happen out here in the corn maze that do end in marriage.” The corn maze is now open to the public, and Precision Mazes is currently running a campaign to give one lucky couple the chance to have their initials added to the design.
