Lou Gramm is hitting the road again with Foreigner this December after filling in for singer Kelly Hansen earlier this year. The band's original singer will be performing select songs with their new vocalist, Luis Maldonado, on a eight-date US trek this December.

In addition to the tour dates, Foreigner also announced an expanded edition of their iconic 1981 album 4, which is slated for a September 12 release.

“Earlier this year, we toured Mexico and South America with the incredible Lou Gramm. We all had such a fantastic time performing and being together, and it’s with that same excitement I look forward to working with Lou again," Maldonado said in a statement. "He was an integral part of the writing and recording of the Foreigner 4 album and his presence will add a historic dimension to our forthcoming tour.”

Maldonado is set to take the reins from Kelly Hansen this fall. “I’ve had my time in here, and in the business, and the entertainment business is not the easiest business in the world,” Hanson recently said about quitting the band. “I really want to be able to live my life outside of being on the road nine months a year. I want to be able to do other things in my life, with my family, while I still can. And I don’t want to be out there doing these songs at less than the standard that we’ve set, ever.”

Hansen's last shows with Foreigner are set to be October 11 and 12 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
