Happy Home Opener Day! This baseball season brings us many new changes to Progressive Field. Of course Covid-19 has everyone implementing health procedures and it is not any different at the ballpark. All fans must wear a face mask at all times, unless they are actively eating or drinking while sitting in their ticketed seat.
No bags will be allowed in the ballpark this year. There are a few exceptions such as medical bags, diaper bags and clutch purses. They are also encouraging fans to use cashless forms of payment. From now on, like many other facilities, tickets will be exclusively digital. Screenshots and PDFs will no longer be acceptable forms of entry. The Jim Beam Bourbon Bar, in Left Field District, will be releasing signature baseball themed cocktails throughout the season. Perry's Ice Cream has revealed its newest ice cream flavor "Doughing, Doughing, Gone." Which contains chocolate cookie dough ice cream with crushed cookie swirls and cookie dough pieces!
Don't worry there will still be promotional giveaways throughout this baseball year. If you are attending games between April 9th and April 11th you will receive a 2021 Magnet Schedule presented by Progressive. There will even be postgame fireworks, bobble head and jersey giveaways.
