Americans now have more access than ever to cannabis and all of its products. They have predicted that in 2021, the Cannabis market in the United States will more than likely top at $24 Billion with more than 3 million new customers purchasing from licensed stores. Marijauna has become more common than it once was and is sold in many different forms, so what is most appealing to consumers?
The answer to the question is: It depends on the user. The data from YouGov shows that 27% of people are more interested in trying edibles such as baked goods, chocolates and other infused food items. About 21% of consumers would prefer Marijuana in a more traditional way, flower/bud which can be smoked in a pipe or rolled into a joint. Similarly, 20% of people are also interested in trying topical body products, extracts, concentrates, etc.. While 44% of people say they have no interest in any of these items.
35% of those of whom smoked weed in the past but do not currently say that they would be most interested in edibles. Only 26% would be tempted by ingestible concentrates/extracts and topical body products. Followed by flower/bud at 22% and infused beverages at 17%.
They say that those who have never tried Marijuana in a traditional form, i.e. flower/bud, are more apt to lean towards topical body & bath products, edibles, ingestible concentrates/extracts, facial beauty products or cooking ingredients.
17% of men however, seem to be more interested in concentrates/extracts for vaping and dabbing versus 12% of women. Have you tried any of these products before and if not would you?
