Moosehead BBQ Grill in Avon is new and improved! Originally opened in Vermilion in 1995, Moosehead relocated to Amherst in 2006 and then opened a second location in Avon. The Avon location began renovations on December 19th but has continued serving carryout until now. Their Grand opening will be Tuesday April 27th at 11:30AM for lunch! They will feature a full Barbeque menu of ribs (St. Louis & Baby Back), smoked brisket, pork, chicken, pork belly and sausage. Of course they will also have cornbread, Texas toast, pickles and all the classic sides to choose from, as well as four (4) signature BBQ sauces.
Due to the pandemic, Moosehead was forced to rework their business model. They are currently doing bar service. Come in, seat yourself and take a look at the menu. Once you are ready, head to the counter and place your order. They will give you your drinks, BBQ sauces and a bucket with a small chalkboard on it to write your order number. When your food is ready, they will run it out to your table. They will be coming around to fill drinks and clear tables but will not be taking orders at this time since they do not have enough staff.

AMBA, owned by Doug Katz, has been operating out of a ghost kitchen in Cleveland Heights for months serving dishes inspired from India. They now plan to transition to a brick and mortar establishment on W. 28th Street in Hingetown. Planning on opening in late October, AMBA will expand its current menu. This 4,800 square foot space will have a bar room and a dining room. You can still order pickup & delivery online.
