Habits That Make People Not Like Being Around You

We all see ourselves in a good light but how do others view you? We all want to be liked and respected by our peers. Some of the actions listed below can have people viewing you in a negative way. AlphaM.com suggests you kick these habits to get people to change how they look at you.

No one likes to be lectured to or at so stop preaching. Having a passion for the way you feel is great but try not to come off overly judgmental. No one wants to hang around with someone that they feel is judging everything they do.

Mooching is not a good attribute. If your bank account is low, don't go. Your friends will understand and would respect that more than being the person who "forgets" their wallet.

The term "momma's boy" has a negative connotation attached to the phrase. Loving your mom and having a good relationship with them is fabulous but seeking their approval for everything you do is a little much. It comes off as you have never or will not grow up.

Sex is amazing but no one wants to hear about it all the time. There is a right place, time and people to discuss this topic. Talking about it non-stop can make you seem like you are desperate and/or pervy.

No one wants to hang out with a downer. Wallowing in your own depression does not create an environment or energy that people want to be around. If you cannot deal with your emotions on your own, get help from professionals.

Being clingy can come off as being insecure. Take chances! Believe in yourself! Confidence is a quality that everyone can appreciate and admire.

Having money and/or looks is great but bragging about it is not. Boasting about what you have is not a characteristic that many idolize.

Stop playing the victim. Life is hard on us sometimes but being angry at the world does not solve anything. Enjoy life and the others around you! No one wants to hang out with someone who is irritable all the time.

Friends and family want to be able to trust and rely on you when needed. If you lie all the time no one will believe what you have to say. Tell the truth and stop embellishing stories to impress others.
