There are some words and phrases that should never be in the same sentence. Among them are “busted” and “condom” – a combo that strikes fear in the heart of every man. The exception is when you’re talking about busting myths about condoms. For that, we should have your full attention.
- Unreliable – When used correctly, condoms are 98% effective at preventing pregnancy and STDs. If used incorrectly, that rate drops to 92%.
- Uncomfortable – Check the size. The wrong size can affect pleasure, sensitivity, breakage, and erectile function.
- No Lube Needed – Lube makes it all better, before and after putting it on. Just don’t use one that’s oil based.
- Two Are Better Than One – It works when you swing bats in the warm-up circle…not with condoms.
- No Need If She’s On The Pill – If you’re in a committed relationship that you trust, that’s fine for STDs. However, if you’re not ready to be a baby daddy, you’d best be taking care of business yourself.
- They Don’t Expire – Yes, they do. That’s why there are expiration dates on the damn box. Usually, they last three-to-five years, but deterioration is a gradual process. Check the box, the date, and inspect the rubber before you use it. It’s your junk on the line.
