The Taylor Swift course at Harvard has inspired another university to create a unique celeb-centered course.
Vermont State University is going to offer a course about Weird Al Yankovic’s music.
The class is titled "Weird Al and his Polkas," which is a twist on Harvard’s “Taylor and Her World.”
The school touts the class saying "Studying his work offers students a fun and engaging framework to study things like parody, songcraft, and music production analysis.”
Professor Brian Warwick, who teaches the class, knows plenty about the topic. Warwick was an audio engineer for Yankovic's two most recent albums.
