Flight attendants with Southwest Airlines are experiencing a new kind of menace in the skies.
Thanks to this summer’s intense heat, soda cans are bursting after being loaded onto some flights.
According to airline officials, “a series of incidents” have been reported involving “cans of carbonated drinks rupturing.”
In addition to the mess, there have also been roughly 20 injuries to employees reported, including one hand injury that required stitches.
