A Kansas woman, Charlotte Holmes, has shared her near-death experience, describing how she visited Heaven and saw the edge of Hell during an 11-minute journey after her heart stopped. Holmes recalled her doctors declaring her clinically dead after her heart stopped. She found herself "above my body" and was led by angels to Heaven, where she experienced "pure joy" and reunited with younger, healthier versions of her deceased loved ones.
Holmes described her time in Heaven as a place of incredible beauty and peace. "I saw my mom, dad, and family members standing behind them, and behind them was a light so bright I couldn't look upon it," she explained. Her journey took a dark turn when God showed her the edge of Hell, where she witnessed the "unbearable" contrast to Heaven, smelling "rotten flesh" and hearing horrifying screams. "He says, 'I show you this to tell you if some of them do not change their ways, this is where they shall reside,'" Holmes recounted.
After making a full recovery, Holmes has shared her incredible story. "People need hope. They want to know that there really is something out there... I can look you square in the eye and tell you for sure, Heaven is real."
