It was 2005, when Michael Scott handed out Dundee Awards to deserving employees on “The Office” at the local Chili’s.
That’s interesting, however, because back in 2005, there was no Chili’s in Scranton.
That’s changing, though.
The first Chili’s in the area is now opening, and it’ll be giving plenty of nods to “The Office.”
The décor will have a 2005-vibe, and the deep-fried onion with cheese dipping sauce will be on the menu, even though it’s been long gone from every other restaurant in the Chili’s chain.
The new restaurant will be opening on April 7th for those fans who want to make the pilgrimage.
