Most of us aren't eager to shell out a fortune for coffee.
However, if you’re aiming for the priciest morning possible, here's a Starbucks order that could come with a hefty hospital bill.
Someone discovered that the most expensive single drink available on the Starbucks app costs $45.
It's definitely not a standard beverage—you have to make numerous modifications.
To order it, request a "Venti Matcha Crème Frappuccino" with 12 shots of espresso and an additional 12 affogato-style shots.
The base drink is $6.25, with the 12 espresso shots adding $15, the 12 affogato-style shots contributing another $15, along with other add-ons like: mocha and dark caramel sauces for $1.60; caramel drizzle costing 60 cents; frappuccino chips with one pump of chai for $1.60; caramel crunch topping at 50 cents; and four scoops each of vanilla bean and chocolate malt powder for $1.
The whipped cream is free, thankfully. This totals $41.55, which can rise to $45 with tax.
Prices may vary slightly by location.
The person who created this expensive order claims it was just for fun and didn’t actually try it, which seems like a major missed chance, though it's probably wise if health is a concern.
