A 10-foot-tall bronze statue of Tina Turner was unveiled in Brownsville, Tennessee, near her childhood home, during the 10th-annual Tina Turner Heritage Days.
The statue shows Turner with her iconic hairstyle and mic, capturing her stage energy and presence.
About 50 donors, including Ford Motor Co., funded the project, which took a year to complete.
Fans, family, and community members attended the ceremony, paying tribute to her music and legacy.
The statue stands near the West Tennessee Delta Heritage Center, which houses a museum dedicated to Turner inside her former one-room schoolhouse.
The music icon died in 2023 at the age of 83.
